About

Hello, I am Minh Nguyen. I received his Engineering degree at Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2018 and his Ph.D. degree at the Institute of Information Technology (ITEC), Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt (AAU), Austria in 2023. After my Ph.D, I was working as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Scalable Platform for Innovations on Real-time Immersive Telepresence (SPIRIT) project at AAU.

My research interests are adaptive video streaming, multimedia networking, Augmented and Virtual Reality, and QoS/QoE evaluation. I have published various research papers covering topics around Adaptive Bitrate (ABR) algorithms, adaptive streaming over HTTP/2, HTTP/3 and QUIC, and QoE in Augmented Reality. I also applied for several patents in these topics.

Research Interest

Video streaming, multimedia communications and networking, quality of experience (QoE).
